Gourmet Crostino with Burrata, Figs and Balsamic: An Easy and Tasty Idea for Brunch or Quick Dinner
Ingredients (for 2 people)
- 2 slices of homemade bread or baguette
- 150 g of burrata
- 3-4 fresh figs (sliced)
- 3 tablespoons Midolini Balsamic Dressing Aged 10 or 15 Years
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- A pinch of salt and pepper
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)
Procedure
Prepare the crouton:
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Toast the bread slices in the oven or in a pan with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil until golden and crispy. Set aside.
Prepare the burrata and figs:
Cut the burrata into small pieces and set aside.
Wash and cut the figs into thin slices.
Composing the crouton:
Arrange the toasted bread slices on a serving plate.
Place the burrata in pieces on each slice of bread.
Add the fig slices evenly over the burrata.
Season and serve:
Drizzle the crostini with a drizzle of Midolini Aged Balsamic for a gourmet touch that balances the sweetness of the figs and the creaminess of the burrata.
