University of Trieste Confirms the Health Benefits of Midolini Balsamic

Università di Trieste attesta le proprietà benefiche del Balsamico Midolini

Midolini Balsamic, crafted in the Eastern Hills of Friuli since 1958, has recently been the subject of scientific analysis conducted by the University of Trieste. The results confirm that our Extra-Aged Balsamicsaged 18, 35, and 50 years—contain a significant amount of polyphenols, natural compounds known for their antioxidant and anti-aging properties.

According to a study by the University’s Product Analysis Laboratory (DEAMS Department of the University of Trieste), just 10 ml of Midolini Balsamic (about two teaspoons) provides over 10% of the recommended daily intake of polyphenols.

Here are the four main benefits of the polyphenols found in our Balsamic:

  • Combat free radicals

  • Protect cells from premature aging

  • Support cardiovascular health

  • Contribute to a balanced diet, including gluten-free and vegan lifestyles

Thanks to its natural aging process, Midolini Balsamic concentrates these beneficial properties, becoming a valuable ingredient that combines rich flavor with wellness.

This achievement further enhances the value of our artisanal, 100% Italian production—made exclusively from cooked grape must and aged in barrels crafted from seven local noble woods. A method that blends tradition, taste, and health benefits.
