Its distinct varietal characteristics are immediately apparent, with notes of bitter almond and wildflowers. On the palate, it is balanced, elegant, and savoury, complemented by good acidity.

Food Pairings

As an aperitif, it’s perfect. Exceptional with fish, especially shellfish or seafood starters. Try it with smoked trout or white meats, such as cold guinea fowl salad. Don’t miss pairing it with San Daniele DOP prosciutto. It also pairs wonderfully with young cheeses or a platter of fresh cheeses and cured ham. Ideal with crispy Frico, a unique Friulian dish, or Carnian Cjarsons.
